American Apple Pie is a classic, period. Sweet but tart, delicately spiced, syrupy, buttery, nostalgic, we could go on…
However delicious though, these classic pies are loaded with sugar and empty calories so that despite your grandmother’s best intentions, post-pie you may be left feeling fatigued and sluggish. Instead, when the weather gets cold and you crave a slice -- or slices -- of hot apple pie, try our healthier solution: Rip Van Wafel “Apple Pie.”
With only 9g of sugar vs 20g of sugar in a slice of pie. All the comfort of a slice of pie, minus the guilt!
- 1 Dutch Caramel & Vanilla Rip Van Wafel
- 2 tbs yogurt of choice
- 1/4 Apple, sliced
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp ChocZero Sugar-Free Caramel Syrup
- Place the wafel on a plate
- Add yogurt on the wafel
- Place apple slices on top
- Add sugar-free caramel syrup
- Sprinkle the Cinnamon
