    A Rip Van Wafel is a Dutch stroopwafel – two thin, crispy wafer layers wrapped around a soft, gooey filling. Originally a European staple, we reimagined it with cleaner ingredients, less sugar, and more fiber, without losing any of what makes it great.

  • What makes Rip Van Wafels different?

    Most stroopwafels are loaded with sugar and empty carbs. Ours have just 3g of sugar per wafel, 6g of fiber, and are made with real ingredients – no artificial colors, no preservatives, no high fructose corn syrup. Same indulgent experience, built to actually fit your day.

  • How are the wafels so high in fiber?

    We use chicory root fiber as a key ingredient. It's a natural, plant-based prebiotic fiber that adds digestive benefits without affecting the taste or texture. It's what lets us hit 6g of fiber per wafel while keeping the filling soft and satisfying.

  • Are the wafels gluten free?

    Most of our wafels contain wheat and are not gluten free. However, we do offer a dedicated Gluten Free line – currently available in Dutch Caramel & Vanilla – made with rice flour and certified gluten free ingredients.

  • Are the wafels made on Nut-Free lines?

    Our wafels may contain traces of nuts. They are not produced on dedicated nut-free lines, so we don't recommend them for anyone with a severe nut allergy. Always check the packaging for the most current allergen information.
